Crystal Hemp

The Hemp Melt & Pour Soap Base is made using natural Hemp Oil which is rich in Essential Fatty Acids known to provide good moisture balance to the skin. This mild soap base gently refreshes and revives the look of the skin.

Glycerin, a natural emollient, is included to draw moisture from the air to benefit skin. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy-looking skin. And, since we don’t use animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced with high-quality raw materials to form a luxurious lather and sparkling clarity.

Usage: A two-pound brick can make between 10 – 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make.

Important Note: Occasionally, Melt and Pour Soap Base may have an uneven coloring, which is known as mottling. Mottling, which is formed during the cooling phase of the soap production, is purely aesthetic and does not affect the quality or performance of the soap. Once the soap base has been re-melted, mottling will no longer be visible. Be sure to cut the base from top to bottom, portion by portion, horizontally when re-melting.

Caution: When making soaps it is good to remember that the Melt & Pour soap bases contain water as part of the formula, so if they are left exposed to the atmosphere, the water will evaporate and the bar of soap will shrink. Therefore, we recommend fully wrapping the soap bar as soon as it is poured, cooled and dry to minimize or eliminate any shrinkage.
